Family Field Days

Cost: One Free Trial Session

We don't just wander the woods—our Saturday mornings follow a structured flow that balances child-led freedom with intentional, group activities that both you and your child/children can enjoy.

Family Field Saturday Schedule

9:00 AM – 9:30 AM | Basecamp Arrival & Mud Kitchen Social

Arrive at our main barn shelter, grab a name tag, and let your little explorer dive into our sensory bins and mud kitchens. This is a low-pressure window for children to acclimate to the outdoors while parents connect over morning coffee.

 9:30 AM – 9:45 AM | Morning Circle & Safety Guidelines

When our gathering chime rings, we sit together on our log benches. We’ll sing a quick welcome song, do a fun forest stretch, and set our simple trail boundary rules before heading out on our daily mission.

9:45 AM – 11:00 AM | The Guided Trail Safari & Forest Project

We hit the trails as a pack! Equipped with magnifying lenses and collection buckets, parents and children work together to tackle the day's theme—whether that's tracking micro-beasts under rotten logs, hunting for hidden bird nests, or gathering branches for our community stick-forts.

 11:00 AM – 11:30 AM | Storytime & Nature Studio

We return to the shaded shelter to cool down. The children gather on stumps for an interactive nature storybook reading, followed by a simple, zero-waste nature craft (like pressing wild clover into air-dry clay disks).

 11:30 AM – 12:00 PM | Community Picnic & Open Play

We wrap up our morning together with a casual picnic lunch under the barn. Unpack the sack lunch or snacks you brought from home, chat with the village, and enjoy a final splash in the mud kitchens before heading out right in time for afternoon naptime!
